If you can afford to live near the lake it is pretty cool until January.

Lol, there are shitty parts but there are shitty parts in every town. Where I'm going to be living is really about as safe as you can get in a major city. And it may just be because where I work but I've met many more conservatives than liberals.

I have no idea what everyone is talking about, because Chicago is awesome. I've had a great time every time I've been. The entire city isn't ghetto as shite, just the South Side.

I said it is cool til January. The act of going outside on some of those days in Jan and Feb takes courage... That and it seems like the days last for 3 hours.

I did a lot of work up there in the 90s... Wouldn't be surprised if there were a few kids that look like me up there. If mouths could get pregnant, I could have really done some work. They love to suck cock up there. Must be the lack of sun...

Yea, weather starts to turn in the late fall and you aren't really out of the woods until May/June

It was supposed to be down into 38 degrees last night. For the most part, it's been in the 50s. But personally, that's much better than 95 degrees and humidity.

The wind on the other hand might end up being an issue. The corner right outside my office is the windiest place I've ever been.

Last night it got down to the low to mid 40's. Yesterday was a beautiful day topping out around mid to high 70's. Today should be the same.

But yes, usually the humidity is a bitch.

Don't be lyin' (Ted Cruz)! The high yesterday was 65!

Seriously, though, the humidity is coming and it's gonna suck balls.

Chicago and Boston are my two least favorite major cities to visit. Don't really know why, just don't like them much.

They're two of my favorites. Boston for its history and the uniqueness of the city. The road systems is fricked but other than that, I think it's really cool.

Chicago is just a fun city to spend a summer weekend in. Catching a cubs game, hanging in and around Wrigleyville, and just walking around the chicago neighborhoods is awesome.

Was in Chicago last weekend for the Braves gane. Got rained out but still went to the draft and had a great time. 2nd time I've been and loved it both times. I like it more than nyc. Hell, I wouldn't mind living in Chicago if it came to it. Prefer the southeast but id not turn it down

If you can put up with the absolutely brutal winters, the summer months are incredible. the city releases so much pent up energy during the summer and it's a blast.
