It was their RBs, definitely, but I think he ran pretty effectively. The read option was also big in freeing them up.

I DO seem to remember him being a more mobile QB, but had a tough time throwing the ball. I felt like we could beat them before the Grier thing....I feel as confident now.

yeah grier being out only helps us. He was pretty darn good and obviously our pass defense is suspect.
IDGAS what happened last year, treon only threw 6 passes for a reason...that reason being he clearly isn't that great of a passer. If UF runs for 400 yards on us again I'll eat my hat. This is good for us. Not saying we'll win..but it's definitely in our favor we're facing harris and not grier.

Completely agree. Treon may prove me wrong, but they're way more one dimensional with him at QB, and our run defense should be much better than they were last year against UF. We need Floyd and Sanders to play much better than they did last year, and we're definitely getting more push up the middle.

Grier from little I'd seen was a more polished Connor Shaw.
Running QBs give us hella trouble anyways. Hate to "backdoor" into another division title. Could be more satisfying beating an undefeated gators team on Halloween. LSU is almost a sure loss for them.

We win the division it won't be backdoored and you'll have to give the staff for righting the ship.

It is a pretty sad state of affairs when we have to start a thread about our hope of beating Florida with the suspension of Will Grier.
I agree with a those about just hoping we win some games without serious injuries.
