Spurrier like downfield plays sounds good to me.

Great read

I sort of disagree with his assessment of this year's offense being more explosive since Schotty is in town. If Bobo had a stronger arm at QB last year, that explosive aspect would have been more obvious.

The point about Schotty making in-game adjustments quicker is exciting if it pans out. UGA offenses has been sort of like a 747 in recent years - really good at what they do, as long as they are pointed in the right direction. Seemed like some games took a little too long to get the O pointed in the right direction. If we can make those changes within drives...it could be scary good

Great insight.

In case anybody missed it, here's another really good breakdown... SDS Murf on Schotty

I think the hire could end up being a spectacular one.

Play calling to win vs play calling in the fetal position will be the biggest difference.

I was always a fan of Spurrier's offensive philosophy at Florida. I hate that it worked so well against us but he has been a brilliant offensive mind for a long time. Throw to get the lead and run to keep it. If we have good QB play, I expect to see a lot of this.

Although at times I certainly hated Bobo's play calling I always suspected it was CMRs ultimate call. This should be an interesting year for UGA fans.

Running that reverse toss sweep with a player like i-mac, godwin, or mitchell could be very fun to watch.
