Last week was due to Julio not catching the ball and not getting a horrible PI on Julio by Sherman.
This week was poor coaching and the D could not stop the charges when needed.
Not the end of the world.
Still see this team winning 9 or 10 games. At least Beasley had a good game with two sacks.

It sucks. That's two mediocre teams that we've lost to at home this year.

I really don't watch the NFL these days but I did catch some of the Falcons game yesterday. I accurately predicted the outcome of the game in the first half. The NFL is losing viewership due to their shitty political stances. At this point they are desperate to drum up enthusiasm. The Falcons were driving down for what would have been the winning score when Julio Jones was darn near raped by the defender on a roughly 20 yard pass and of course there was no pass interference call by the officials. The Falcons had to go for a 58 yard FG which predictably was missed and the game went into OT. Surprise, surprise. It was time for an underdog San Diego win and sure enough they got one at Atlanta's expense.
Conclusion: The NFL is all about forced balance in order to maintain enthusiasm for their shitty product across the board. I might consider watching pro football again when the clean up their political act and like college review every play to insure that the correct call has been made instead of manipulating games with contrived excitement.

No they're not. They're losing viewership because it's a shitty product. They're losing viewership because they put the same teams in the national spotlight and the matchups almost always stink.
People aren't watching because of Kaepernick. They're not watching because Roger Goodell is putting a shitty product out there.

Yeah the infusion of politics is definitely driving away viewers, at least based on what I've read and heard. People watch football to take a break from everything else in the world, not to watch "oppressed" millionaires protest. ESPN and other sports outlets continue to go further left when their audience remains on the right, not a very smart decision on their part. It's definitely not the fact that people just aren't interested in football anymore, last I checked college football ratings are actually up a little bit compared to last year.

Yep, which is hardly a surprise considering my perception of football fans is they are probably more patriotic/proud Americans than the liberal progressive NFL management.

Yes,they are.
admittedly, it's more than I expected. But that's not the only reason the NFL ratings are down, just part of it.

I think NFL is way overexposed...they need to cut back on the Thursday broadcast and
you can pretty much get the rundown on any game with redzone.

Totally agree. The Thursday night game is bad. Plus, if they're "all about player safety", then why do you have a game on Thursday? Countless players, current and former, have said that their bodies don't fully recover until Friday or Saturday after a Sunday game. It's stupid.
