I am not much of an NFL fan but Ryan is playing at another level from what I have seen of him this season....he has always looked anywhere from good to substantially better than average but he has looked as good as any hall of famer from what I have seen this season. And the NFL is wide open...Falcons could be the Cubs this year!

Ryan has a legit shot at MVP if he keeps up this pace. Outside of Brady, nobody in the league is playing at his level from the QB position.
Falcons will make some noise this year in the playoffs if they can keep the offense clicking through the end of the year.

Defense needs to see some more improvement before the playoffs start if we want to have a chance to make a run. Anxious to see how serious Trufant's shoulder injury is.

I also think our defense has a lot of potential but they are still very young with lots of rookie starters- good for the future but right now they don't have much room for error. Elite QB's (ie not Winston) can and have been giving them trouble all year.

I think I saw a stat that said 7 starters on defense were 1 or 2 year players. That's exciting for the future because you can already see them getting better game by game.
The pass rush is night and day different from last year and even the first part of this year.

Meh, I'll back off on Quinn. I'm still not sold that he's a top-tier HC. He's supposed to be building a top-flight D, which he hasn't made much progress towards and I'm not sure how much he has to do with the offense.
Defense still sucks. Opinion has changed little on them.
Offense is unreal. I've never seen Matt Ryan this confident. Amazing what some pass protection will do for a QB. Don't think our defense will allow for us to get to the Super Bowl, but this is a fun group to watch and they've got the NFC South on lockdown.

After last year I abandoned the Falcons calling the coaches and players worthless pieces of shite. It worked and the team turned it around.
I am going to perform the same service for UGA coaches and players after this sorry excuse for a season. Maybe I'll get the same result.

Defense isn't top flight but to say is he hasn't made much progress isn't correct. Beasley finally looks like a legitimate pass rusher,Neal looks he's going to be very good safety and was well worth drafting in the 1st and Deion Jones is an upgrade at LB and has a much better upside than any LB on the roster.
