Real question is will Dumbitroff make the pick. Reports are Quinn wants him to stay but Mr. Depot is on the fence.

I'd be okay if we went D-line early in the draft, you can always get good skill guys in later rounds.

we have too many holes. Hopefully we make some strong FA pick up as well but I don't trust TD to do that

need to go OL and DL early though

It's going to be interesting to see how far Nkemdiche falls, I know he doesn't fit TD's mold of a senior captain good guy but if we could get a top 5 talent at 17 then we'll need to jump on it. Might be too early to tell whether his draft stock will fall or if everything will blow over.

Mock drafts have Ragland from Alabama and Myles Jack available when we draft, couldn't go wrong with those.

Can we trade Matt Ryan for a 5th round pick and a slightly used washing machine?

Ha.

I imagine there would be a team all over that.

Ryan is not the problem. He had a terrible year and I think even he would say it was bad, but he is top 10 at the position most of his career.

Yes please. Our linebackers are great tacklers but they couldn't cover my grandma running a flat pattern.

No way he slips to 17

Myles Jack

he should be there and definitely a take. I would give that an A or A- for first round pick.

If we could get one of Ragland, Nkemdiche, Myles Jack or A'Shawn Robinson to slip to us that would be glorious. Any of those are immediate upgrades to what we have now. I hope this is a defense centered draft but I know we still have holes to fill on offense. It would be nice if we could pick up a good WR 2nd or third round, Roddy is just too old and we don't have anybody out there who worries defenses besides Julio.

Knowing TD, he'll likely try to move up if the guy he wants falls

I'm not sure if we have Hankerson under contract next year but I like him as a WR2/3 guy. Get another Hankerson in FreeAgency and the pass game is good imo.

Draft the trenches works for me.

Hankerson was cut and has since played for both New England and (currently) Buffalo since last wearing a Falcons uniform

One thing we need to realize too is that this division is going to have some great QB talent we have to deal with for a while. Cam will have the Panthers at the top as long as he his healthy, also Jameis down in Tampa is looking like he'll be a good one and you know they're going to draft as many weapons for him as they can. Having those two young, good and mobile QBs to deal with (and an aging Brees) for at least a few years makes it extremely important we get some studs on defense so we can compete in the division.

I thought he was hurt too but apparently he's been bouncing around the league the last few weeks WR might be more of a priority than I thought.

No shite.

I'm a believer in best available in rd1 and rd2. Hard to say what that will be right now.
