"He’s blowing the old Jacob Eason out of the water right now,” Lavelle Durant said. “I haven’t been as impressed at what Jacob can do throwing the football in a long time as I am right now. Probably ever.”
"No baby fat,” Durant said. “You can definitely notice his muscle. You can really tell he’s been working out. You don’t see a gut with him at 242 pounds even with all that weight he’s gained.”
Here's to hoping he's ready to start against UNC

That's what I was thinking, VA. His trainer is also the same cat that kept telling people different things about where he thought Jacob was going to commit and sort of seemed a little bothered that UW didn't really get a serious look. The trainer may be gushing about it publicly to get attention drawn to the situation where the NCAA comes calling to check into this training regimen that has seen him gain 30lbs of muscle in 6 months.

30 lbs over 6 months in a college weight and nutrition program isn't far fetched at all. Especially on a 6'6 skinny frame

Eassssy there, Dookie. No need to bring a rational explanation into his narrow minded world.

First sign of an intellectually enlightened and open-minded poster is slinging insults at another poster right out of the gate.
Lets go over this: First, I have yet to be wrong about a RB prospect who has come into UGA with the exception of Crowell. Posts over the years can prove that. I suppose its possible that I could be wrong about any of the guys I gave my opinion on, and that is why I specifically mentioned that agreement and disagreement were both welcome, as different people may have seen something that I did not. Open to discussion and debate. Not the close-minded person in this equation.
Second, I didnt say that I necessarily thought that there was anything going on, but 30 lbs of rip in 6 months is actually enough to raise the question. Afterall, Will Greer Gained 58 lbs over the course of a full year and that was enough to get him tested and suspended. So, half that amount of weight in half the amount of time is enough to ask the question.
Raising the question when everyone else is blindly just attributing the gain to the strength and conditioning program without stopping to think is not the narrow-minded view, my friend. Have fun with all that vitriole. I am sure it keeps you warm on cold nights.

Don't waste your time engaging with him.

I see he is a new poster but I assumed he was an alter troll. Just thought I would give the benefit of the doubt. Everyone else in the thread seemed to be on the same page with him, with fewer insults. Thanks for the heads up, Porter.

Oh, Girls gain 30 lbs in 6 months in college, but I doubt that even 5 of the 30 is muscle.

Call me a cynic, but I have my doubts about anyone putting on 30 lbs of pure muscle in 5 months. I would wager he is more in that 230 range.
