Does anyone realistically expect Eason to take the starters spot in '16???

Wouldn't that mean we prolly go 6-7, 7-6 or 8-5 this year??
I don't see it with what we have coming back. 9-4, 10-3 or better is very obtainable IMO...

Not unless Ramsey, Bauta, and Park all fall flat on their faces. If we have a serviceable QB who knows the system, they will get the start over a true freshman unless there is a substantial talent gap.

Maybe, maybe but only if he enrolls early and the others bomb

best case scenario for opposing teams was Jacob Park this year & Jacob Eason next year

At the beginning? Hell no, I can practically guarantee he won't. Actually ill guarantee it now barring injury.
At some point in the year? It's possible. He will without a doubt be the most talented on the roster with the most potential. Just depends on how quick he develops.

You say, Jacob Eason will not start & will not redshirt... The best scenario of all for opposing teams

WG I got a hella good feeling about this year. Don't ask why but I think we win 10 minimum... Can't see Eason usurping a BR/FB/JP that gets us to 10 wins unless someone falls flat on their face...
If we go 11-2 & we get good QB play, does Eason start looking harder at Michigan or elsewhere??

dallas,
Something to consider ... Eason may be under the impression he will start as a true freshman. Some blue chippers are given that assurance
Maybe not

I mean he's likely gone after 3 years doesn't matter if we burn his redshirt or not

I'm worried that we all will miss not having Hutson Mason under center. So far during scrimmages the three QBs' 53% practice completion rate is 15% lower than Mason's live game completion rate. The interception rate hasn't been that great either.
But, it's early. Maybe we will know more after the G Day Game.

Well, we don't what kind of games they are playing. Maybe they are throwing more middle and deep routes instead of the dink and dunks that Mason excelled at.

How would you feel if I told you that Pruitt's Defense statistics have improved this year?

If he isn't starting, he should be getting significant snaps in every game.
But the thought of Brice/Faton/Park playing well enough to keep Eason on the bench seems like a pipe dream at this point

So you think we go 6-6, 7-5 or so in the reg season due to QB play??
I got us 10-2 or 9-3 vs this schedule...
You think we'll do worse than that with this schedule? If Brice/Faton/Jacob get us 9-10 wins in the reg. season you think Eason starts games as a Fr.?

Georgia Southern -Nov. 21- Athens, GA...W

Just trying to temper some expectations here... Next year ain't gonna be like a Stafford fighting for playing time over JT3 & Joe Cox... Brice & Park are both Elite 11 QB's in their own right...
ETA:...It's a great potential problem to have...

I can never resist looking at a schedule and picking the wins and losses in advance and it's always wrong. Sometimes those chickens that I count don't hatch or maybe a fox gets most of the hens.
If one of our QB's turns into a world-beater this year and Eason doesn't play for a couple of years that would be great, but it appears unlikely.

I am disappointed with Jacob Park's performances during the Spring so far.
