I've just had this feeling that he was closer to UGA than Cal and picked them to stun people. Cal is not that great of a school, personally I would pick ND over Cal. I just haven't heard anything in a while and I know Kirby was still recruiting him and I could see him popping up at UGA. He loves publicity it seems. Didn't know if someone had some information.

He isn't on the Cal team roster for 2016 if that means anything.

He's not at UGA taking summer classes or working out or running routes when he could be and that's all that matters.

There was recently doing a 6' standing box jump, and it was in the Cal IPF.

Cal is an excellent school, he made a fine choice, and he will likely excel there.

If he didn't choose Georgia at least he chose a very good school, outside the SEC, that is not on our schedule.

I wish him the best of success.

From an international perspective, Cal-Berkeley is essentially one of the world's top 10 institutions.

Shanghai Jiaotong Rankings (China):
Cal - 4
Georgia - 151-200

Times Higher Education Rankings (UK):
Cal - 13
Georgia - 251-300

CWUR (Saudi Arabia):
Cal - 7
Georgia - 204

As a disclaimer, UGA tends to underperform in these rankings for two reasons: 1) Georgia Tech has the "prestige" engineering departments and 2) the lack of a med school.

No doubt an excellent school but from the student athete prespective they at least used to have a pretty shoddy reputation

72nd in graduation rate

The LOWEST of all P5 schools (article is from 2013)
