I've been really trying to maintain a level head through all this, thinking that we just played a great game but it could easily be an anomaly. But this board combined with all the hype we're getting from tRant has me about to fricking bathe in some kool-aid. What do I dooooooooooooooooooooooo, brother?

IS THIS WHAT JESUS CAMP FEELS LIKE?!?!

Dude, it's tough. First half I was slipping back to old ways. GAHD DAYUM, BOBO, HAND OFF THA DAYUM BALL. Saw the defense struggle still (I mean, I saw improvement but was worried). Sony on 3rd and 1. I felt it. I was back.

Then the third happened and I was all like "well, shite, Pruitt may be worth all that money I spent on jergens and kleenex. Hell, I had to move to generic brand to afford the habit. But then, holy shite, the 4th happened...

I didn't know what happened. I still don't. I am waiting to wake up in the 3rd quater to see Watson lofting more holy shite passes at some dipshit I've never heard of with Devin Bowman doing his best Shaq Wiggins WTF hand raise.

So this is my suggestion. Saturday night and Sunday I bathed in this greatness. Life is too short to not enjoy at least some kool aid. But now I am back to thinking like Larry taught us. "Well, we beat that Clemson team but we're young and Clemson hung with us longer than they should've. Still worried about those boys in Columbia."

Idk. My world is in shambles. Even with my negative thought my heart keeps pulsating. I think to myself that Georgia can blow it in JAX and then I read an article projecting us to the Rose Bowl in the playoffs. I start thinking we may have injuries but then I see a gif of Nick Chubb groin kicking the entire Clemson defense.

It's weird, bro.

I'm in the same boat...I live in S,C, and I'm trying to maintain my game face around all the Cock fans. Telling em, naw it will be a close game like always, when I'm really thinking....we're gonna blow you the frick out.

The very next week no less. The roots of my unbridled negativity began then. 14 year old DGD didn't handle that ride home well.

I was at that LSU game. It was insane, just like the CU game. Holy shite. I've lost all confidence now. USCe by 10+

Yes.....yes. Let it wash over you. It warms you like your favorite childhood blanket. I was born in 1978. My formative years were the early 80's and some guy named Herschel fricking Walker. The late 80's was Dooley riding into the sunset of his career and his condo above ours at Shipwatch on Amelia. Then, well then the fricking 90's happened and you can just read my post history.

These are the things that must keep us grounded. These memories. Because each season I tell myself I won't be let down again! And that's when it happens.

That's why I can't help but think that we shot our wad way too early.

Just imagine if we have a superior outing against SC and Gurley runs amok again -

Heads will explode, Kraft Foods stock will quadruple and Firewind will explode into orbit.

I'm cautiously sipping at this point. If we can grab a convincing win at Williams-Brice, I'll be doing keg stands with that shite, though.

I have 2 tickets and some people willing to go but I don't have a place to stay and I may or may not have broken the bank last weekend. I am debating it right now but I may sell them.

Idk, though.
