Legge destroys the underachiever argument to quantify Richt's status as an outstanding coach. Opponents in the conference would love to trick UGA into dumping Richt but don't fall for it.

Have we won an SEC title in the past 10 years or have I missed something?

I don't think so, but you should google it to make sure.

Fair enough.

Have we won a SEC title in the past 3513 days?

OR

Have we won a SEC title in the past 9 years, 7 months, and 14 days?

Since I got outed yesterday as AD McGarity we might as well go ahead and acknowledge that Dawgs9 is CMR.

There is no arguing with the fact that CMR lacks the same desire and dedication to winning when compared to Saban, Urbans, Miles, and a few others, some more and some less successful than FGJ. His personality and stated priorities open him up for criticism no arguing that either. He is a very good coach, but a VGC that has a history of making a bonehead mistake and a history of missing the oft times very important minor detail. Examples... are numerous. Not clocking the ball, the Barn clock fail, not running TG# 4 times from the 4 v SC last year and others.

He also has a history of not managing the roster for the long run as a recruiter, and not managing the roster during games.... best talent on the field.

He also has a history of not preparing teams for big games and not making obvious adjustments at the half.

He also has a history of not making changes/addressing critical needs related to the staff. Assigning JT2 to head S&C job was a massive fail.

IMO I truly beleive much of this will start to fade as he is maturing and learning from his failures of the past. The change at OC will be the most obvious. We will not miss CMB one bit. Bobo was a terrible game planner, even worse in critical situations, not very smart, and lacked creativity. He was also terrible and managing the talent.

CMR has by far his best staff from top to botton. Major infusion of passion, intellilect, experience, and talent. T Brown and BMac are awesome adds.

Feel free to share this expert analysis..... be sure to come back and vote it up when the season is over.

It is idiotic to believe that the east is as high a ceiling that he aspires to. What he means, for anyone with a slight modicum of critical thinking skills, is that for all the goals every coach in this league wants to accomplish, you can't do all of that unless you first win your division. that's pretty basic.

He wants to win a national title just as much as you or I do. But you can't do that unless you make the playoffs. There's a pretty solid chance you dont' make the playoffs unless you win the SEC. And you can't win the SEC unless you win the east.

It may or may not happen, nobody knows. If you're so confident it won't even happen why do you even watch? What enjoyment do you even get out of following the team?

Sure there is. The fact that he's been handcuffed with a much smaller budget and supporting staff for starters.

So Saban stinks because of the Kick 6?

The oline has been hindered but not recruiting enough.

True

When?

See number 1.

You sir are an idiot. Had you said this 5 years ago I would have agreed. But he was breaking records and leading the SEC in scoring.

roster management

Our stated policy of not oversigning along with our strict disciplinary/drug testing procedures WAS a recipe for disaster when it came to roster management
....thankfully we finally loosend our oversigning policy
It also shows on this years roster...I think we finally have a full compliment players for 2015 (give or take)...I honestly cant remember the last time that happened
