Dawgs begin NCAA Golf Championships Friday

Coach Haack is one of UGA's greatest coaches. We've made the NCAA Championships 17 times under him with two national titles and two runner up finishes.
30 teams in the tourney in Bradenton, Florida. Champs will be crowned on June 3rd.

I don't expect a hella lot outta this bunch, so a lil' run would be nice...

Same here, however, they have won some tournaments this year (Carmel & Puerto Rico), so there is some experience winning. McCoy has to play lights out to have a chance.

I'd love to make the top 8 because anything can happen from there. In the women's tourney Baylor was ranked #18 in the nation and is now in the finals. Hopefully we can make a similar sort of run.

Is there a better site to keep track of this tournament, hopefully, than the "Golf Stat" website....that somebody created on their Commodore 64 about 19 years ago?

A Golf Stat spread-sheet just came through my apple IIe's printer. After tearing off the perforated feeder-holes on the side of the page, I learned that............UGA has a golfer by name of Mookie..

I haven't seen one, but fortunately we'll get coverage on the golf channel on Monday (final day of stroke play), along with every match play segment.

Hope I don't jinx them but UGA is currently in 1st at -2 with a 3 stroke lead. It's early tho, our guys are on #2-#5...
