This team was exceptionally well coached tonight. They were prepared, disciplined and rose to the challenge. The defense did what they do exceptionally well. The offense played well ...hell, even Cheney called a pretty damn good game. The flea flicker and then following possession were spot on.

Kicking game was flawless ....punts were long and Rod blasted every damn kick into the EZ I think....not to mention a 49 FG.

We got two picks, Fromm was damn near perfect, Mecole, Wims and Godwin caught balls - Nauta even came out of witness protection for a HUGE catch too.

This was a damn near perfect game.

Let's do it again.

We have 54 blue chip players and MSU has 15.
Kudos for the victory but let's not pretend the
talent gap was close.

Well...we've had a a lot of blue chip players as long as I can remember and still managed to turn games like this into a shitshow. We didn't tonight.

This was a well coached team.

LSU has comparable talent and that game wasn't even close.

I was honestly surprised at how good of a game the offensive line had. They looked tremendous tonight. I still think this is a pretty good MSU defense... Chaney just had some excellent calls when they were playing aggressively.
