GREAT win today. Falcons won in Denver and stomped a mudhole in their defense. Can't say this team isn't legit anymore

I take back everything I said about them before the season started, this is a pretty good team.

This looks to be a solid team again. So, what happened in the off-season to result in such a turnaround?

They got a center. Ryan was having to help make line calls last year.

Alex Mack happened to the offense, and the early returns are good on the defensive rookies

I'm just really happy to see them looking like a strong team again. Feels like it's been forever.

Such a great addition to the team. We went from not being able to snap it without fumbling to having one of the best Centers in the league.

Ishmael played his arse of at LB yesterday too. Not an easy task going from defensive backfield to playing lb. Especially when he was calling the plays and making sire everyone was lined up correctly.

If we can keep improving on the pass rush we will have a very dangerous team.

If you remember two years ago, the Browns got off to a great start. They were 7-4 and had just demolished the Bengals in Cincinnati on a Thursday night game. Mack breaks his leg against Pittsburgh, goes out for the season, and their run game disappears and Brian Hoyer starts sucking. They finished 7-9. I'm still convinced that they go at least 9-7 or 10-6 and make the playoffs if Mack stays healthy. Their OC that year was Kyle Shanahan.

Mack's value to this offense can not be understated.

ETA: He makes all of the line/protection calls, taking that burden off of Matt Ryan. It's working. This OL is playing as well as any Falcons OL that I can ever remember watching.

Wonder how often someone has beaten the 2 Superbowl teams the next year? Not even to mention back to back...

I feel like I read that it was a mid 80's Lions team, but I drank a lot of beer yesterday so I might be way off
