I am a fir believer that an employee us going to produce at a higher rate early in their job with a new employer and that experience and knowledge will not out pace the complacency that comes with being comfortable.

This is where we are with Richt.....and other than the anomaly than the situation at TCU coaches who have been in their jobs as long as Richt gas are not competitive. Bob Stoops looks pretty decent this season but they lost a lousy Texas team. Gary Pinkel is as bad as Richt and fricking Frank Beamer should have retired years ago....and that is where we are...we are Virginia Tech and if we don't have some folks in a position to effect change we are going to see Mark Richt losing 4 games a year for the nexT 10-15 years.

I hat to admire anything about Steve Spurrier but I think this had a lot to do with his leaving UF...he was bored and knew he wasn't producing like he wanted to.

Starting a new job is daunting....it requires that you be focused and sharp....get comfortable and lose focus.

New blood at the helm would mean, if nothing else, that the coach was focused and not complacent.....and this program sorely needs to lose its complacency....
