I was talking UGA employee who assist the football team and he said the football program has been reinvented. CKS is structured to a gnat's arse. CKS is so deep in the weeds the players are even assigned seats on the busses to the stadium. There is no lack of focus with this man.

He also said CMR would only put in the allotted hours with the players, then he was done. CKS on the other hand brings in the weight trainers (unlimited contact time with players) to work with different groups after practice. If the wide receivers have a bad day, CKS brings out the pitching machine and puts the weight trainers behind it and slings balls to them until they remember how to catch. He also said the practices are very well structured which allows more reps.

This and our current recruiting class

Appears the Jugs Machine hasn't helped some of our receivers with the dropsies

One thing I've admired about Kirby. Like he might not work out and might not be a good manager, but he seems like he won't be complacent with anything but the best and will give 110% toward that goal. Hopefully that results in championships

People like that get results ....but they can suck to work for.

I know a guy that sucks to work for. He has 5 national championships.

As a fan I don't care how bad it sucks to work for CKS as long as he is getting results.

Thats great and all, but right now I'm in "don't tell me about the labor, show me the baby" mode. I want wins.

So how many pitching machines did they go through at the first half of the season?

That's typically not a compliment.

not sure why everyone is downing this particular part of the post...we've all seen that stanley and chigbu simply aren't good receivers. No amount of juggs work is going to make them AJ Green.

I think they got over their dropsies in the back half of the season. They definitely improved. This year it was just painful to see the missed opportunities due to failure to keep drives going.

Maybe the Jugs machine isn't any more accurate than Eason.

The receivers definitely missed some catches, but also I think some of the drops are on Eason, it seems he forces a he ball early in games. You try catching 100mph quick slant or curl.

If you look at late game scenarios the drops went down and Eason seemed more comfortable during the pressure situations, which is good. Just needs to figure out how to be calm out the locker room.

Whenever there is management change and when the MGT was moved in to bring about a culture change.... they will bring about culture change. This really should not be surprising. If it doesn't translate in better football, it will not have a long shelf life. If we have an offseason of few guys in trouble and the ones who get in trouble have the charges dropped mysteriously after they get a DUI in their uncles customized Dodge Charger.... then you will know you have arrived to the Bama football culture y'all so seem to covet.... Godspeed and enjoy the ride...

Until we get change in the police department, we won't be able to achieve that level of culture.
