13 yards on 15 carries...
Even if you take out Chubb's 80 yard run, he had 50 more yards.

Was wanting to post the same thing. You can make anybody look amazing when they are averaging 5 yards a carry before contact. Look what happens when his line gives him no room he can't run.
I will say he is still an amazing running back but his vision isn't even in the same universe as Gurley and Chubbs. This is a prime example of how vision in a running back can make an online look good and how bad vision van make them look normal.

I don't like to say "I told you so" but said this same thing in one of the infamous LF vs NC threads from the summer. Leonard Fournette is the perfect back in every sense but vision. He is average at best with that. Doesn't work against Alabama.

Derrick Henry looks really good in this game. LSUs defense is not on par with Bama's, so it's not fair to compare his performance directly against Fournette's....but damn he's a hoss. He runs so upright and stiff but he can really move.

Not gonna lie, I can't take much away from Fournette with regards to this game. What Bama's front 7 is doing is criminal. Just absolute abuse. Vision isn't going to get him away from multiple 300+ pound guys taking away every possible running lane.

Still - Chubb averaged over 7 yards per carry on that defensive front seven. Take away his 83 yard run (which would be insane) and he's still averaging 3.3 yards per carry against this year's Bama defense.
LF7? 1.6 yards per carry. Less than one yard per carry if you take away his biggest run.
Chubb>LF7. No doubt.

I'm on the Fournette train, but I'm absolutely going to troll the shite out of LSU fans tomorrow morning.

I say this is true simply because of Chubbs vision. He has that same gift that Gurley has, its insane.
Fournette is a superior physical talent but, as has been pointed out, his vision is average. Give him Chubb or Gurleys vision and he may be a beast the planet has never seen.
I have a feeling he will be a very good NFL RB as long as he goes somewhere with a better than average OL.
Chubb, so long as he fully recovers will be similar to Gurley because of his vision.

I think Chubb is actually a better back than Gurley in every area except vision.

They should retroactively give it too Tud he's better than anyone this year.
