At this point, with this O Line and the season probably headed down an 8-4 type road, I am ok with this.

Highly likely. 1-3 week high ankle sprain. Fortunate nobody fell on him when he twisted or he'd probably be done for the year

Down, but not out. Guy is a leader. He will act like Obi-Wan. Strike me down and I shall become more powerful then you can ever imagine

Hasn't ran like the old Chubb behind this POS OL.Hope he heals and gets ready for his payday at the next level, he's earned it... Lotta young talent, no need to rush it and risk his future...

It would nice to have him but I don't think there is much you can do without a better OL.

He's been hit roughly 57% of carries behind the LOS in the last 3 games... hard to look like his old self. I will say that in the UNC game, I'm not certain he looked to have his top end speed but still showed a lot of power/burst. Hopefully for Chubb (DGD!) Kirby's comments during the offseason ring especially true ~typically after an injury like that, it's the second year where they really are back.

What was the hit behind the line percentage last year and before?

Where did you get this stat? I'm not questioning it... sounds about right... just curious the source.

This may be a good thing.. maybe UT backs some guys off the LOS and our young guns and Sony can do some damage. Maybe our OL looks better when the 5 of them aren't trying to block 8 guys.

I'm not sure any team will back off the LOS until they get consistently burned. It worked pretty well for our last three opponents. Immobile freshmen quarterbacks don't get any respect until they repeatedly prove that they can handle the pressure and find an open receiver (who can catch).

It's probably a blessing in disguise and will save his career. Our star players seem to get majorly injured when we play UT.

Alright so what if he actually misses 3 games, comes back and continues to post underwhelming numbers (because of poor OL or any reason, really). Is there any chance he comes back for another year?

Time for one of these freshman to step up and make a name for himself.. I can see both making an impact and catching ole Butch by surprise
