Your "restrictions" aren't keeping Tech from trying to win. Two probations and one failure to monitor in the last ten years.

Yall are trying, it just ain't working.

Lightning in a bottle.

Sums up your head coach's tenure quite nicely.

You don't think Richt would do any better in the Coastal division if he managed to sign top 25 classes?

What are Techs "built in restrictions " ?

I'm assuming it is a reference to the fallacy that they cant ever compete at a higher level because all players must have to have an IQ of 6000 to attend their prestigious university.

But that's just an assumption.

Just asked my bro in law engineer and he said it had something to do with being within 90% of the freshman class with only two exceptions (coaches choice )? He didn't think it was that dumb a question fwiw.

?he just texted and said he wasn't completely positive about that though.

Stanford also very rarely wins championships.

With the exception of one year Stanford has won every Directors Cup since it's inception.

I dont know you at all but you seem to think tech is fricking Harvard and every recruit is a genius. I know plenty of tech grads and that's far from the case.

Accept your mediocrity and move on

If he coached at GT he wouldn't sign top 25 classes.

No I'm not. Duke is a great school. It's also a fact that some of their majors aren't very difficult.

Lately their restrictions have been NCAA imposed probation. Don't let anyone tell you Tech isn't trying to play big boy football. They just haven't been successful lately.

Nope. That's not what I'm saying. Maybe I'm just not saying it right.

GT has a very limited number of majors. We can't always offer a major an athlete wants to study.
