I misread. Thought talking about us. They didn't diagnose ADD when I was in school; had they, I would've been the poster child.

But yeah, I would like to see Bobo have success as a HC there, now that you mention it.

Surprised I caught it. I'm surprised I can remember my log in and PW here.

Selfishly I'd love to see Bobo back here. But he's a very good man and coach and I wish him all of the best at CSU. There's another Bobo out there and it ain't Chaney, IMHO.

I think both Freeze and Sumlin will be available.

I think both would make good OC's and good recruiters, at least until they find another HC job somewhere.

Who would you rather have?

Neither one of them puts enough emphasis on the running game. Pass on both. Kevin Wilson was available this offseason. We should have forklifted Chaney's arse to the curb and written Wilson a blank check.

Chaney's been coaching since 1985. He's coached at 8 schools, plus a short stint with the St. Louis Rams.

His longest stay anyplace was an 8 year stint at Purdue in the late 90's/early 2000s. That was an exception.

He's mostly been a 2 or 3 year guy in any given job.

I take comfort in that. We need a longer term OC. And preferably one whose weight is not so noticeable to become a story line. Just kind of embarrassing.

His weight has absolutely nothing to do with his coaching ability.

Chaney's weight is a big negative even though it might not affect his coaching ability. Elite athletes prejudge coaches who are badly out of shape.

I guess that's why Fulmer never had any elite talent at Tennessee, right?

Speculation. An absurd one at that. I've never heard anyone talk about his weight anywhere but here.

ANother unintendended consequence of kirby's Sick Naban coverband policy of not letting coordinators talk to the press.

If people actually got to hear Chaney speak, they might could see that he's a very sharp and brilliant dude. ONe hell of a slick salesman too.

Then he ought to know not to eat so much. Gluttony is the first deadly sin.

I don't think athletes judge someone with a belly or if they are big as they are around people like that.... they do, however, know the difference betweeen a belly and a giant fat fricking disgusting orb of gluttony when they see it.

Gluttony? Most people on here worship gluttony, though. If Chaney was an over-indulger in weed instead of cheeseburgers, he'd be celebrated by the same coolsters that trash him here.

But cheeseburgers aren't cool like weed is. So eating yourself stupid doesn't get the same respect that smoking or drinking yourself stupid does. Some forms of gluttony are just cooler than others, I guess.

Everybody loves cheeseburgers. What did weed ever do to Jefferson? It's kind of sad he is so bothered by its use.

Jefferson, you have been watching too much TV if you think the typical cannabis user consumes large quantities.

Two hits daily is more than enough to enable me to walk around a large store instead of riding. Weed makes my muscles and joints feel loose, free and well coordinated.

It really doesn't bother me too much that a psycho-active compound in cannabis is a well-recognized anti-carcinogen.

Great. Now tell me about how great Preparation H is , and how many prep H drum circles you've been involved in, and prep H, Prep H!, PREP H!!!!

You won't. Because hemorrhoids aren't cool. And weed is insta-cool.

Maybe If you used a little bit of weed, you would come to your senses and realize talking like Tarzan makes you appear Mentally handicapped. Once you get that far, we can work on your flawed opinion of weed.
