You have a vagina. You're not qualified to comment on men's sports since you don't qualify to play.

I agree 100%. John Madden had no business coaching. Nor should Woody Hayes, Art Shell, John Chavis, Buddy Ryan and we could go on and on. Size has nothing to do with coaching abilities.

Women have fought stereotypes for many, many years based on appearances, and you want to do the same thing?

I would ask him why he is so dumb? He would have to be dumb to ask such a question whether he was taught or not. However, I am not fat. I understand, (To a small degree) what you are saying but there have been way too many great coaches that were overweight (WAY overweight) for weight to be an issue.

Art Shell was terrible - assuming he was actually alive. He never moved or reacted to anything, so he might have just been a propped-up corpse.

You appear to have a bleeding vagina in this thread.

Chaney on the other hand should be replaced; sorry, I just don't want a fatass as a coach. It simply sends the wrong message to the team

Yeah that Fulmer guy really sucked. I'm not the biggest Chaney fan but his weight has nothing to do with it.

I can appreciate that perspective but I just respectfully disagree. In Fulmer's case he might not have gotten fired if he had not become an object of ridicule and not lost control of his team. When a coach loses control of his team it's a sure sign of lack of respect for their coach by the players. I'm not saying that Fulmer's overweight condition was the main source of said disrespect but I can easily see it being one factor.

We get it. You don't like fat people.

I very seriously doubt many football locker rooms feel the same way. shite, like a quarter of the players are fat guys.

Charlie Weis is one of the fattest frickers to ever coach and he won 3 super bowls with the Patriots as an OC.

Andre Smith and Terrence Cody stand out.

*not the most recent of players but Andre Smith's combine pictures were disturbing. Them titties were everywhere.

Well, he was named 1990 NFL Coach of the year and won the AFC West and played for the AFC Championship so I don't think I would call him terrible. Even Al Davis called it a mistake that he fired Shell.

yep we need to fire them all cause after 7 games, a weak OL and a Freshman qb its obvious you have the answer. Im raising my hand for another freaking coach in how many years. What a f-in craptastic idea!

Yeah, I can't get behind firing Chaney at this point. That would be the 4th year in a row with a new OC.

He's not perfect. (Who is?) I really do like a lot of the things he is doing. I think we will see even more stuff as the season unfolds and Eason gets more experience under his belt.

Really we are building to the future and if power running is indeed the future, then you have to start somewhere and say we are going to do it until we do it right.

Not easy using the run to set up the pass when your personel is from the opposite philosophy.

I agree to an extent. The OL we have on the team right now are suited more for a zone block scheme. They need wide splits, because they are, as a whole, undersized. We don't have the OL to do a power block scheme, but that is what Pittman and Chaney are accustomed to. They typically get the biggest OL they can get, then say "We are running the ball, try to stop us." Right now our OL can't do that. Call it size, strength, whatever. (I think it is a combination)
Our OL is built for a zone blocking scheme and we are trying to run a power block scheme.
Pittman/Chaney are not comfortable with a smaller OL. We don't have the big Olinemen it takes to do a power blocking scheme, but that is what they know and teach best.
