It can be summed up through song.......

Pruitt went a little a redneck crazy because Richt and the offensive gurus were basically throwing darts at plays to come up with some semblance of an offensive game plan. His competitive juices got a little hot and he went to Richt's house and let them know they were doing a crappy job.

Pruitt is a cocksucking prick by nature. And since he didn't fear Mark Richt, Pruitt felt enabled to shite on long-time staff and rock the boat with his counter-productive tantrum disruptions.....to the point that several staff threatened to resign rather than continue to work with the guy.

This type of childish dipshitery will not be allowed under a Saban regime. You can bet your arse.

Because the Saban regime is just like Pruitt and the results speak for themselves...

Richt knew he was gone after the TN game as McGarity had set expectations after last season. Pruitt saw that Richt and Shotty had quit on the players and wasn't happy. Went to Richt's house and things got a little hot. Pruitt later had words with McGarity and, thus, Pruitt was poison to him. Smart was supposed to have full autonomy in hiring his staff but McGarity said no only to Pruitt. I really wish McGarity had more of a football background. He acts with a tennis mind.

Pretty much my impression. I would guess that Saban had a very candid conversation with Pruitt about his behavior before hiring him as their new DC.

thanks all...

I knew there was tension, but didn't realize Pruitt took it to CMR's house...that's no good...I liked what Pruitt did with the D, but I am glad that CKS will likely lead more like Saban when dealing with his coordinators...love me some CMR but he did make some poor decisions with his staff and didn't rule with an iron fist..as is sometimes necessary to get shite done...

Right. Saban encourages disharmony among his staff! He's all about cultivating cancer within the process and for having unnecessary selfish disruptions.

Grow up.

The Saban regime don't quit and fold up the tents like Marky Mark and The Schitty Bunch did. If Saban wouldn't condone that kind of competitive fire, then why would he give Pruitt the keys to the Ferrari?

So are you saying that Pruitt is not on your Christmas card list? Why don't you like him? I thought he did a hell of a job at UGA and might have even done better in '16. Is there something I'm missing?

Has nothing to do with me liking him.

Why do people have such a difficult time separating Pruitt's on-field results from his dipshit busch league behavior to other staff behind the scenes?

If a player was confirmed to be a disruptive negative influence in the locker room, how would you feel about that? You would consider it UNACCEPTABLE right?

So, why do Pruitt's Fanboys give him a pass for a situation that is 100 times worse, as he is a fricking coach?

Other than getting on CMR and CBS, I am unaware of other incidents. Maybe I've not been paying attention. I thought he was well within his right to call out CMR for quitting, if that was indeed the case. This was a bad reflection on Pruitt's career as well. I might have done the same. I think every program needs a little fire. Especially from the D side of the ball.

Pruitt comes from two regimes of winning culture, and I'm sure he expected differently when he arrived in Athens. So when this season started going south, the Florida bullshite put him over the edge. The offensive performance the entire month was inexcusable while Pruitt was fielding a top ten defense with a quite a bit of freshmen. If I had to listen to a speech after every loss about how being good with the lord was more important than the job we were there to do, I would probably lose my shite too. Pruitt didn't handle it the correct way, but nobody on this board can criticize the man when he was just hired by Nick Saban. I seriously doubt there will be any subordinate issue with Pruitt at Alabama because everybody will be doing their jobs of coaching football and keep their mission work their personal time.

This is pointless...

For Pruitt Fanboys, there is nothing that their hero can do that won't be rationalized and forgiven as "competitive fire".

Chain of command and basic simple protocols of behavior and team principles be damned.

Agree with you Jefferson. Anybody who knew anything about Mark Richt knew his history. Did Pruitt think he could change him? He made such a big deal about wanting to coach for Richt when he came.
