The kids on this year's team were between the ages of 5-8 when Pat Dye said Georgia wasn't man enough to beat Alabama in 2002.

That inspired Georgia to win that game.

But there is a big difference between 2002 and 2016. Georgia had an excellent strength and conditioning program then. Now, I'm not even sure they have one.

I just don't see how Georgia wins this game. Tennessee is much stronger on both lines of scrimmage, and they have an experienced mobile quarterback.

Tennessee has momentum and confidence; Georgia just got destroyed by a team with a terrible defense.

Tennessee is better at every position except running back and tight end.

The only advantages I can see for Georgia are that the game is at Sanford Stadium, and they should have the desire to redeem themselves after last week's debacle. Tennessee often gets off to a constipated start too, but even if Georgia takes a big lead, I don't see how they could hold on. Florida couldn't and they have the 2nd best defense in the SEC.

It's really hard to argue this point, but I'll try. Tennessee's OL has not been playing well at all....but ours hasn't been lights out, either. I DO think I would give us a very SLIGHT edge, there. I actually like eason better than Dobbs. Dobbs has made a lot of questionable decisions this year, but he seems to have come out of it a bit against Florida.

I'm not making very good arguments, and I'm done!

You just need to concentrate on not losing your nasty jogging shirt this time.

Ya I mean I hope the team gets fired up to play...I'd at least like to see some fire..some energy...some spunk.

But in the end it probably won't matter. These are the types of games Kirby will earn his paycheck. GA can beat Tenn this Saturday...honestly there is a chance, but it will take the best game we have played all year in all three facets to do it.

I don't think UGA will lose to UT like they did to Ole Siss. But, I do think they will lose.

That shirt didn't work last week.

I'm switching to a red one.

Pretty much my perspective. I don't think UT is quite as good as Ole Miss so I'm thinking the difference will be closer to 2 TD's vs 3 this time though granted Freeze took his foot off the peddle in the 4th quarter and let's have a TD in garbage time. On the other hand, Butch won't let up so it could be a similar score or worse.

I just want to see us show up and look competent. Look like we were actually well-prepared, because the last 3 games we clearly have not been.

You guys aren't nearly as bad as you played on Saturday.

This is our first trip outside of Tennessee this season. We have been very inconsistent on the OLine. We have been very inconsistent against the run. Our 2 best linebackers and best corner are still out. We've finally gotten a signature win, but are we going to have a hangover from that or momentum?

Our offense is nowhere near as potent as Ole Miss.

I told you guys before the season that I was more worried about this game than I was about Florida, I still feel that way.

If we ever put 4 quarters together, I'll be confident that we can beat anyone, but since we haven't done that, I feel like we could also lose to just about anyone.

I think the main difference in this game boils down to UT having a veteran dual-threat QB, Dobbs, with tall, athletic receivers vs Georgia playing a Freshman non-mobile QB, Eason, and smallish not particularly athletic receivers. McKenzie is probably the only receiver who has potential to make a difference for our Dawgs but unfortunately McKenzie doesn't know how/or is incapable of catching the ball with his hands.
