Brandon Adams stated it on that podcast Dawgnation Daily. He said they had us as a # point underdog to ND, a 1 point underdog to UT, a 10 point underdog to AU, and I don't remember what they had us vs UF but we were an underdog. Im currently at work, but when I leave at 4 ill find it and post the link

I've seen a few references to AU being good this year. What's the deal?

BTW it's all I can do to follow the DAWGS during the off season...much less AU.

Good running back, good defense, but qb is big question mark. That will make/break them. As many shitty qbs theyve had recently they are due for a good one.

Basically you could say the same about us.

but you can NOT lose your first two games against tech as a Georgia coach

Sure as hell cant. We beat Tech so often that many of our fans tend to forget just how important beating tech every year is. Jim Donnan may have been a great coach if he could've beat tech more often.....but losing more than 25% or so to Tech is a sure fire recipe for a hot seat

Very good defense and they signed a QB transfer that should be very, very good in their offense...Stidham. It's reasonable to expect them to have a very good year.

A successful season would be 9-3 with only 1 division loss, but not to Florida or Tennessee. A great season would be 10-2 with no division loss, which means a trip to the SECCG. A miracle season would be a win in the SECCG and a playoff berth.

The predictions in this thread sound very similar to last summer. Just for kicks I found a thread from August that had a few predictions. Between that thread and other scattered comments from the period, 10-2, 9-3, seemed a safe consensus. I don't remember any 7-5 projections, but obviously that was before we realized just how low our talent had sunk. Plus, skepticism about new coaches and/or quarterbacks isn't considered a virtue on football message boards, and we all want to be virtuous fans. Similarly, everyone thought our #16 preseaon ranking was about right, but obviously the coaches didn't know our entire OL were bums.

But here we are a year later, and all of our questions have been answered, apparently. Well, I still have a few even though most of my concerns have been roundly dismissed by the board. I'm still skeptical about our new coach, because he's given me no reason for confidence. I'm still skeptical about our quarterback too. I know it's completely irrational to deny that the coaching and the execution will improve at an exponential rate, but I'll give my less than optimistic views anyway.

App State - W, but Not a gimme. If Kirby decides to play this one close to the vest it'll be a nail biter.

ND - L. Eason in a hostile stadium doesn't give me warm feelings.

Miss St - W, but also not a gimme. Their young qb (2 star from Georgia) looked as good as Eason last year, and way more mobile. But he was a sophomore so hope springs eternal

UT - L Butch will call an aggressive game plan. Kirby won't. Eason in a hostile stadium again. I need to see some semblance of consistency and composure from him in a road game against a decent team before I expect it.

VU, Mizzou, W

UF - L, The defense they used against us last year wins until proven otherwise.

USCe, toss up. Their young quarterback can think and run circles around Eason. They'd have beaten us last year if he'd played.

Auburn - L

UK - W

GT - W, but only because we have a huge talent advantage. Another nail biter.

My guess, 7-8 regular season wins. I'll change it for the positive when our performance on gameday (even an nice blowout of App state might suffice) gives me a reason to be optimistic.
