Bobo as OC...

Would you take Bobo back as OC? He is not doing that well at Colorado St this year with a record of 4-4. I know he is still very close with Kirby. He did help Georgia put up some good stats with not the best OL in his last years as OC.

Would I take back the best OC we have ever had?

I'd be stupid not to.
But, ya know...the odds of a guy leaving a nice head coaching gig to take a step down and take his old job as OC back are pretty low.

I took a gander at a CSU messaging board a few days ago and the general feel I got was that they are excited about the recruiting he's doing out there and seemed relatively optimistic about what the future holds with him at CSU. (Now someone on here may pull up an article where they rolled his house and put a real estate sign in his yard, but that's not the general feel I got in the few minutes I pecked around on the messaging board.)

Yea - a .500 record with some optimistic recruiting might sound like the end of the world over here, but at Colorado St, that is about as good as it has been in... well, maybe ever

They had some better years when McElwain was there including a 10 win season IIRC, but Bobo's been fine. Unless he has an absolutely terrible season next year he won't be fired.

Yes in a minute, however I think he's pretty secure there.
I would prefer an up and coming offensive guru type.

If you had to choose between being the top scientist in your field or getting mad cow disease, what would it be?

I used to bartend at this restaurant in Kennesaw a long time ago and Bobos dad frequented. He was a major a-hole.

Mike wasn't exactly Mr. Congeniality around campus back in his playing days

Bobo caught the ire of our fanbase early in his career while he was still learning, but he was an outstanding OC by the time he left. Look at the product since he left. Smart + Bobo would completely lockdown South Georgia. That would be an amazing combination.
Doubt Bobo gets canned after this season, though.

If he got fired for some reason he would be one that I could see coming home.

Kind of hope this happens next year.
