I'm going with mizzou. Those shts just don't lose games they shouldn't and have a hell of a coach in Pinkel. I can see it playing out like last year, where we kick their arse but drop two we shouldn't. Not to mention, playing both alabama schools will be a huge challenge.

Florida is our top competition in the east. Missouri will be third. South Carolina 4th. Tennessee is way overhyped, they'll be 5th.

LOL, he has a career 63% win percentage, which includes 11 years in the big 12. He's good, but he's not any better than "pretty good".

Meh. They sucked in 12. They were alright in 13, and if it weren't for our injuries they wouldn't have won the east. We boatraced them last year in columbia and this year get them in athens.

Our biggest competition in the east will likely be tennessee. I would say UF but things are always up in the air with a new coaching staff.

Shhhhhh. Don't tell Vowel fans this. They're self-proclaiming that they're back and Bama is the only team they're worried about in their quest for a NC. If they finish 5th they'll slit their collective wrists and orange blood will flood our state and sicken every man, woman, and child south of Turtletown, TN.

There isn't one.

Hopefully, it could be Georgia..if Pruitt can improve the Defense enough to help an offense that might have some drop-off with a new QB and coordinator. But, there's no single team thats a dominant threat. I wouldn't be surprised if eventual east champ has two or three SEC losses.

You mean like Indiana? Indiana had 3 wins last year and beat Mizzou at Mizzou.

Normally SCjr and Ufag are a thorn in our side, but with CMR any team in the SEC could beat UGA at any given time!

Biggest threat = Tennessee. Hate to say it, but I think they are back or dang well close to it. Hope to heck I am wrong, but I have them pencilled in as a loss next year.

When's the last time Georgia didn't lose one or both of their first two games?..

With ULM and Derek Mason's Vandy as first two games, at least we most likely get to keep the dream alive all the way to week 3 this year!

Exciting Times!

What do we know about Schottenheimer's play-calling?

Tween, Can you submit a report? Please include his tendencies, and and any criticisms from his playcalling from nfl. . Also, who are his influences? Who does he model his schemes after? Will he be upstairs in booth or on sidelines? And whatever else you think is appropriate.

All i can find are messageboards where schlub nfl fans say things like , "Schott sucks" or "Schott blows".

Thanks in advance.

It's gotta be the Vols as much as I hate to say it. We go to Knoxville a week after what is going to be a very physical game against Bama. That's gonna be a tough one.

Biggest threat to us winning the East is ourselves...as has been the case the last 10 years or so. Play to potential and it doesnt matter how improved UT is or how consistent Mizzery is .....play like we normally do and we could very well finish 4th in the east behind UT, USC, Mizzery or UF....

I'll go with UT being the biggest threat.

- think UF will be 'ok' but will take a year to see what Bucky will do
- SCjr is going to be fighting for last spot in the SEC E.
- Mizzou on par with UF. 8-9 wins.
