Anyone hearing rumors of MAJOR changes to be announced today?

I have been told to "stay tuned for big news" from 2 indpendent friends today, one with family inside BM, the other with a student athlete child at UGA. These 2 people do not know each other so I figure something must be happening.

Any of you Ranters have a clue what could be going on...?

Augusta National Chairman Billy Payne has officially stepped down. Maybe McGarity is now being replaced....

Indications/ raised eyebows were

Payne for McGarrity? That would be some outta left field stuff! I could dig it....but that seems like a lateral move at best for Mr. Chairman. He is a DGD regardless!

I am not claiming to have any news or predictions, Spaceman!
I see you are jaded by the Rant...trained to attack!
Just curiosity on my part? See if anyone else had heard anything today. Believe me, If I heard something - lots of other people must have to...because I am NOT connected and try to remain that way.

Yes it wouldn't be near as prestigious but an article on the ajc said he was looking forward to enjoying his Augusta National membership. UGA would be crazy not to try to get him and run Greg McGarity out of Athens. Wishful thinking!

Ha! Wow, a "red-out" how unusual....

...the 2 people who mentioned it to me today both used the words "major change"...one was reading from a text message from an athlete. Maybe this "red-out" IS the "news" - I was expecting something much more impactful.....

Let the calmness wash over us all!

In other jersey color news, it looks like Kirby will actually have to blackout an SEC team or Tech this year because of the schedule. Instead of pussing out and doing it low key for a Louisiana Monroe like last year.
