If the qb competition was truly as tight as Richt continued to say it was during preseason, why not let Bauta get some reps next week. Let's face it, there are some players who are just gamers. They don't practice well but rise to the occasion when the bell rings. Then there are those who practice well but can't handle the game pressure. Let's see what he has in game time.

It was tight between Ramsey/Lambert. Bauta really wasn't in it but Richt gave him credit for his work ethic and improvement.

Why can't some of you realize Lambert is the best QB we have and our best chance to win is with him? If Bauta was good enough to start he would have gotten more snaps in actual games...there's a reason he hasn't gotten shite for playing time.

It wasn't. Just PR, IMO. But if he can make plays, then sure. Why the ef not.

Insanity. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

If you truly trust Lambert you would never have pulled him yesterday.

I wouldn't have pulled him, I've been very vocal both on here and in real life that starting ramsey in the 3rd was one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen our staff make ever. It was mind boggling. absolutely insane.

We can all see what we have at this point...ramsey is shite and lambert is inconsistent. I'd rather ride or die with lambert who could win a game for us but also might lose one instead of trying ramsey who will no doubt, undoubtedly, assuredly lose us games.

Richt made a big mistake by putting ramsey in.

Isn't that EXACTLY what Richt did when he put Ramsey in?

Close enough, anyway. He was looking for a spark from somewhere...

Makes you wonder what would of happened with J Park if he stuck around. If there were not talks of him transferring, would we of went after Lambert? If not, then I'm sure Park or Bauta would of gotten their shot after Ramsey shitted the bed.

But at least staff learned to never play Ramsey in more important games like Tennessee, Florida, Missouri and Kentucky unless the outcome is no longer in doubt.

Never ceases to amaze me how many football experts we have here on DR. I just wish we could get some of you geniuses on the sideline between the hedges. CMR and Shotty have had all of this college and professional playing and coaching experience, and see these QBs in practice, yet some dipshite who works a 9-to-5 at Avis knows more about who should be playing. Please submit your resume so that we can start beating some of the Bamas of the world.

In my entire history of posting, I have always had my opinions based on facts and logic. Which is why I get so irritated with so many here who use neither.

I have said countless, innumerable times that I trust the coaches because unlike us, they are in the meeting rooms, film sessions, every practice, etc and see far more than we see. However, they were dead wrong yesterday. I don't care what they've seen in meetings, they were wrong. I know you don't get to many games, as evidenced by the fact that last year you had to ask us where to park, but I do. I've seen with my own eyes Ramsey play in an actual ballgame and I've seen how horrendous he is. And that was against middling teams. The fact that we trotted him out to start the 2nd half against one of hte best defenses in America when we're down several scores is one of the most God awful coaching decisions I've ever seen made at UGA.

And that has nothing to do with me not being a football expert. I'm also curious why out of all the companies aorund the globe, you somehow selected Avis as the imaginary profession you envision me in.

As painful as yesterday's game was, at least don't have to listen to several weeks' worth of debate about why Ramsey isn't getting a chance.

By putting him in to start the second half, we ripped the band-aid off rather quickly.

Last year I wanted to change our tailgate spot and clandestinely was asking where some of you were tailgating. Big, big mistake on my part. I'm paying.

So you sit in the stands on some Saturday's and you are a better judge of QB talent than CMR and CBS? What did you say of GL prior to the USCe game? I have no doubt that you are a more knowledgeable fan that some dipshites on here who never talk football at all but just recipes and shite but second guessing, to that degree, two coaches with as much QB experience as CMR and CBS is absurd. GL was she'll-shocked and fans were booing. Coaches needed to make a change if only for one series. BR was almost our starting QB at the start of the season, only narrowly losing out. The guy is not that far behind GL, if at all, according to coaches.

link to where I said I was? I'd love to see this.

Since you love stalking me why dont' you tell us? Or I can save you the trouble...I was concerned about GL BEFORE THE SEASON, but after the very first game was comfortable with him. I've never, at any point in time, been comofortable with BR.

Fans dont' have anythign to do with this. IDGAF what fans are doing, I care what our players are doing. GL did look a bit rattled, but guess what? BR looked worse. And he's looked bad in every game he's ever played in.

they did..in the first half. 2nd half if new life...get back to business, dont' put in shite shitsey to start leading a comeback.

to a guy on campus less than 2 months..what does that tell you?

and according to actual results on the field that everyone can see he's about 8 light years behind. He shouldn't see the field again all year.

By the third quarter, we could have. It really wouldn't have mattered in the slightest.

If you're Ohio State last year, that's not a problem. If your choices are shite, and shite with corn in it.....enh.

I'm stalking you?!?! Dude, I don't know what you posted yesterday. You quoted something I posted last season.

Fans pay the bills. You better believe that coaches hear the boos. And, while they would never admit it, it does have an influence on some of their decisions.....human nature.

GL is a 5th year SR. BR's a sophomore. He needs some PT to get comfortable. I'm not judging who should start, but when a QB is tanking and getting owned and booed, coaches have to make decisions. It is not unusual for a coach to sub in a backup QB. Especially if their talents are nearly equal, as CMR and CBS have indicated.
