Matt McCall come on down. I learned how to break a press in seventh grade.

Me and my dog can run a better inbounds play than anything Georgia did over the last minute of the game.

Mark Fox is an awful basketball coach.

Wait you still think Fox should coach this team?

Yes, we at least our program is somewhat close to maybe possibly being relevant. Something it hasn't been since it cheated or Dominique

I am at a loss for words with this statement..that's disappointing to hear a fan say they just want to not suck every year. That's Tech talk..

Your'e the same kind of dolt that would have wanted 5 more years of donnan because he got us to 8/9 wins and an outback bowl compared to what ray goff had done.

News flash: we will never be nationally relevant with this clown as a head coach. The biggest and best we can possibly hope for with him is winning ONE ncaat game. That is the absolute pie in teh sky best case scenario we'll ever have with him. He's a joke.

It's nice to have a basketball program that isn't a basement dweller but are you really satisfied with being "somewhat close to maybe possibly being relevant"? Kind of sad if so.

I see Fox a bit like I did Richt; he's a good guy and good coach but I don't think he will ever recruit quite well enough to take us to the next level.

Folks will respond with "BUT WE'RE GEORGIA! DO YOU KNOW HOW BAD WE SUCK?!? WE'LL NEVER BE GOOD." But that's not the point.

Who cares about history? We've won 20 games a year for the last three years and are in one of the most fertile recruiting grounds in the country. We should start to expect a better basketball program.

Fox has shown time and time and time again that he SUCKS at game management. SUCKS at play-calling, and SUCKS at recruiting.

I think it's great that his guys play hard for him and I think it's great that he's won a few ball games here, but if his team's are going to continue to blow winnable games and blow games like today that they had no business losing then it's time to move on. He's a mediocre basketball coach.

Do you want a good basketball program or not. That simple.

The next level isn't good enough either. We are multiple levels below where we should be for a school of our size and caliber.

So what should fox do to keep him here?

An inbounds play would be a good start.

We should be a tournament team year in and year out and make runs some years being the flagship school of this state. Being kinda close to being relevant is good enough to you yocals though.

Lolz. I did laugh at that.

I think Fox has done a good job and has the program improving. We lost two 4 year starters and it seems this team is better than last year. I say keep him

He is the best coach we could possibly hope to have.

Nothing. It's year 8 and a tiger doesn't change his stripes, we know exactly precisely what we have with fox and he's not good enough. Period.

The one and only way UGA basketball is ever going to take it to the next level is to get someone better, period. We could have kept jim donnan for 20 years simply because he was better than ray goff, but he never would have been as good as richt was. That's just the way the world is. You can be good, and better than a lot of others, but there are others that are a lot better than you. There are better people for UGA than fox. It would be impossible to argue otherwise. Mark Fox is NOT the absolute very best coach in america that uga could find to hire. And if he's not, then why aren't we looking for that guy?
