At least we got a guy that checks off the boxes "Coaches in a good baseball conference" and "Has experience recruiting the south/state of Ga". (Sarcasm)

Full disclosure: I was probably going to shite on this hire no matter what and I wasn't expecting a good hire because our baseball program is the Titanic post iceberg collision and minus the lifeboats. But still, screw Stricklin.

His biggest accomplishment is leading the Michigan pitching staff to #2 in conference pitching stats.

The only time a Big 10 team has made the CWS since most of us have even been alive was in 2013 when Indiana made it for their first and only time ever.

This makes about as much sense as Michigan hiring a UGA hockey coach.
