I don't feel like we are winning by enough. We could have put the Nets away easily both games and let them back into the game. That doesn't stand well for when you're playing stiffer competition.

It's all about matchups.
The Nets are a poor perimeter shooting and perimeter defending team, and they can't quite match our speed and certainly can't match our bench depth. The ONLY things they beat us in are rebounds on both ends and owning the paint. So we GIVE them those things so we can concentrate more efforts on the other things.
They would have to concentrate extra efforts on defending us on the perimeter, preventing turning the ball over, having a good perimeter shooting night, and making all their free-throws if they want to beat us.
We've had 2 games where we had poor shooting percentage, missed a bunch of free-throws, turned the ball over more than usual, and had fewer assists than usual, all while Horford has hurt fingers, Milsap has a hurt shoulder, and Mike Scott has a stiff back.
And we STILL won both games.
Trust me, the Nets do NOT match up well against us at all. So much so that they are still losing to us when we have very below average games.
The only team I'm afraid of in the East are the Raptors. We simply don't match up with them. They know how to defend our style of play and we have a tough time defending their style of play.
Luckily, the Wizards are beating them 2-0 and we can beat the Wizards.

I wouldn't go that far yet. They're 3-1 against the Wizards this year with their one loss coming from a sloppy game in DC. Granted the Wizards are hot and the Hawks are not playing very well atm, I like that matchup.

Eehhhh, Idk. They've played pretty bad so far, but the good thing for Atlanta is that they were mega successful all year not by having a superstar like a lebron, but by just playing solid arse, good as shite basketball. Tehy've lost some of that for whatever reason, but their style of play leads me to believe that they'll have a chance in any series. I just really hope it doesn't go to a game 7.
