Watching Fox News, they talked about this story and showed the video. Pretty awesome. Apparently they don't just hunt out football players, but do good deeds as well.

Cop did nothing to try and save the guy in the front seat.
Guy in front seat was unconscious. Not screaming. So let him burn alive.
And don't even try to save the guy in the backseat until he's done with the fire extinguisher (which did nothing).
I watch that video and see a cop who is overwhelmed with the situation and makes poor decisions.
But yeah, give him an award for doing his job poorly.

Guy in the front seat was most likely dead from smoke inhalation due to a fire in his lap.

So, it is your position that you ignore the one you KNOW is alive and screaming to "rescue" the one you think might be dead?

No offense but are you fricking serious. What would you have done differently. w
With adrenaline pumping (which severely limits perception), immediate action required, and lives on the line with only one man.
I studied how firefighters, police, and military react in sudden life or death issues and this guy did just about as good as you can expect.

Well, since the other guy was definitely alive and not sitting in a fire, yes, you do ignore the most likely dead guy and save the guy that is most certainly living....
