Maybe I've been living in a bunker but what is this generic bullshite. Is that new to this year? Attack the day? That sounds like my fricking middle school motto. GATA has some personality and edge to it at least.

It's been the slogan since Kirby got here. Perhaps finish the drill was changed because we never once finished the drill.

I like it. Do it every day and good things will come.

Yeah, didn't like that either. Why does there need to be a saying like this.
I realize this on my part.

Every team has some sort of slogan they build their season around. This just happens to happens to be ours this year.
A lot of times each position group has one, too. Look to last year's Wolf Pack for the LBs.

I thought the S&C Coach (Sinclair) brought that here concerning that area.
Yearly motto may come in for the videos I'd assume, but #atd has been around since Sinclair took over.
Every class, positionally, has had a nickname.
Ex- '18 DB's are League of Shadows

How do you attack the day anyway?
If you put an intense scowl on your face and flex and get pumped up while brushing your teeth, do you're teeth get anymore clean than when just brushing them the normal way?
Unless I'm missing something, ATD just means "Be a Meathead".

It's just a shorter way of saying, "You're either getting better or you're getting worse. You never stay the same."

It means work your tail off to get better.

It means "whatever you do today, don't do whatever worthless thing Jefferson is doing."

More modern way of saying Carpe Diem
