We really don't have many hardcore basketball fans at all. Even on a uga message board that attracts the most rabid fans, we only have like 10 people who actively follow the basketball team and know what the hell they are talking about.

In the South Carolina post game thread on Reddit, for example, there were like 15 comments all from South Carolina fans. None of these are exact measures, but we simply don't have a big or committed basketball fan base whatsoever.

And yes, I think everyone agrees that we are capable of more. It's just about being realistic with our goals. It would be such a waste to toss all of our current progress down the drain with a coaching switch right now. We are absolutely on the right path, and it's fun to follow. We are a postseason team this year and next for sure, so that will be 5 straight postseasons which is awesome and should not be ignored.

I think we win 18 games pretty easily this year. If we can get two upset victories on the road we win 20 again and that would just be good.

I can't wait to get hammonds and claxton on campus. They say Claxton is almost 6'11 so he is the tallest recruit UGA has gotten and hammonds is a can play SF and PF but he is only like 6'7 so not ideal height for a PF. I hope we can get Teshaun Hightower and another maybe another big.

TeShaun is on his official visit now.
