There's talk about pot and prostitution thoughts? I'm for it farmers could make some money. Atlanta , Athens and other cities with large populations could make a lot of money.

Just look at what all that lottery money has done for the schools. Remember, the state budget for the schools would not be affected. All the lottery money would make the schools great.

Of course, they'd be legalizing it to tax and regulate the bejesus out of it, so it wouldn't exactly be "freedom."

Meyer Lansky always said the government would eventually take over gambling - there's just too much money to be made there.

No they just want to tax it. Less regulation

If they're taxing it, they're regulating it. Believe that.

One of the biggest moneymakers for the Mafia was on legalized booze and cigarettes. They would counterfeit the tax stamps and sell them.

Gambling is already legal in Georgia. It's called the Lottery. As for pot and prostitution, has Georgia legalized medical marijuana? As for prostitution, get married. You'll pay for sex whether you get it or not.

The biggest one was Franzese's gas scam, but the Mob could make money off anything. They even had a parsley racket going.
