Anyone know why they take so long to mail tickets?

For those more familiar with the inner workings than myself, any insight here?
Contributions are due in February. Request tickets shortly thereafter. Games start early September. Tickets mailed....in August.
I get that they have to sort through contributions, reorder every single person in line, figure out requests, send off the order to arkansas somewhere for the tix to be printed, then mail to your house. I get that it can't just happen in the course of a week...but does it really take 5 months? I just don't see any reason why they can't be mailed out in like June or July.

No clue why, but be sure to take a picture of your sheet when you get them and post it here.

Yea, just make sure to leave you name and address in clear view. Need to see if the Chowder Clan all have strange middle names.
