Unless the team all got food poisoning last night, I've got to wonder how we can avoid losing at least 4 or 5 games...based on that performance against Nicholls.

I was expecting 3-4 losses with good coaching. Right now no SEC game is a gimme.

I said we'd lose in ATL to LSU.

I think we lose in ATL to Bama now...

Lucius Clay is a stopped clock. But that doesn't mean it won't be a disappointing season.

We'll be alright. Still got a shot at the division.

2-0!

Well, now we find out if Kirby was worth the switch at HC: Won a big game to start the season, damn near shite the bed in a squeaker against a bad opponent in the second game.

It's his job to regain the team's focus and use this as a teachable moment.

No way to say what this means for the season but we will sure as shite find out in one week.

And the Indians never really mounted any major resistance after that little snafu in Montana, either.

Perfect game to get our heads right for the next three games. We have to run more off tackle. I expect we will see the playbook open up next week a bit.

FCS programs are limited to 63 full scholarships, with lower talent athletes filling those spots. Nicholls state has won 9 games in the last 5 years combined, against a mostly FCS schedule , but they went on the road with a freshman qb and almost beat UGA.

I think it's a safe bet to say this means our season won't be pretty.

He said we had a horrible week in practice. Hopefully it tightens up after this.

And last week we beat by two scores a UNC team that has 85 on scholarship including future NFL players at WR and RB, a team that won their division last year and finished the season 11-3.

The sample size is currently too small to say which UGA team we're going to get the rest of the season.

Not sure what to think after that performance. The O-line needs to get it together though. They looked awful today and honestly thought they were going to be vastly improved this year.

They better get to work,Ole Miss,Mizzou Auburn and Florida all have stellar D-lines.

Well, I'm not going to get too adamant about knowing the future. But when I went back and watched the UNC game closely, I was a lot less optimistic about the team and the coaching, and today didn't change that.

Maybe Nicholls State in 2016 is fielding their best team ever, or maybe UNC with Trubisky at quarterback is a shell of last years team. Either way, I'm very unimpressed with the product Kirby Smart has put on the field so far.

I don't know about that. But Kirby sure turned back the hands of time...all the way to Ray Goff.

We looked completely unprepared and uninterested in competing.

As it turns out, he commented that practice started going downhill on Wednesday, after rankings came out Tuesday.

Sheesh...hope we don't have another nice guy coach on our hands.
