The quotes are about team attitude going into SEC games now vs back then. Saturday Down South was the source.

quote:

I think the main difference right now is the mentality that Kirby has brought,” Murray said. “It’s the mentality that Alabama has where they walk into every game and they know they are going to win. That’s already a `W’ in the win column in the mental state of the game, where they’re not walking in scared.

And when Murray was playing
quote:

You kind of psych yourself out that it’s going to be close, that it is going to come down to the wire,

Kirby, Fromm and the entire team expect to dominate. Florida is fricked. All the fans who still feel trepidation before the WLOCP need an attitude change. I'm already celebrating. Go Dawgs.

Sounds right. The past few weeks I've heard comments from CKS and others about wanting to emptying the stadium and making other teams quit.

This Bulldawg team has the mentality of complete domination of opponents from start to finish. It's awesome.

At half time this past week Kirby said he wanted us to "crush [Mizzou's] will, make them not want to play football anymore". He's also stressed crushing the oppositions will many times this season.

This gets me excited!

That's fine, IF you can keep the players grounded. It's not easy with young men, they tend to get way overconfident. I'm sure Saban is very good at that, but another part of Alabama's success has been having enough quality depth to keep the starters in constant fear of losing their jobs.

At this point, it has to be a battle for Kirby to keep these guys respecting the player on the other side of the line. Hopefully he can convince them to avoid social media and news reports of their great team.

I've seen "rat poison" referenced a couple of places. What's that from?

Saban called the media praise of Bama's games so far "rat poison". Said he had an uphill battle convincing them they're not as good as the media would have you believe.

We could be playing Kennesaw Mountain High School in Jacksonville and my conditioning would still make me shite a brick before this game.

Norm Van Brocklin said if his Atlanta Falcons team after a loss to a bad team, "They've been listening to the whores on Peachtree Street telling them how great they are."

As a program we have always had a lack of confidence......Vince and Munson were legendary self doubters.....This team feels different than any Georgia team I can remember in my 46 years of following UGA football with the exception of the Walker years.....as a fan I'm stuck in years of conditioning but this team seems to have a handle on it at the moment. Beating ND and the fans taking over South Bend may be a moment in time that we look back on in the future as a watershed moment in this program's history....lose that game in that atmosphere and self doubt could easily creep in....

Let's not be LSU fans just because we are having a little success. We still haven't won anything.
