I think he is referring to the fact he was a walk-on that did scout team work, and earned his way onto the field under Grantham, after which Richt gave him a scholly, and recruiting junkies got mad that Richt was wasting schollies on walk-ons, but Davis held his spot under Pruitt, and continued to hold his spot with Smart/Tucker. So it gives athenslife great validation to chuckle at his friend now.
