It appears that Coach Tony Ball may be leaving for the LSU WR job.

They have to be offering a ton of money. He only needs 1 more year to be set for retirement in Georgia.

Think Hines Ward would be interested in that position? Wonder who the candidates would be.

Nice thought but I'm not sure that a man with HW type money would want to spend his retirement recruiting and coaching college football.

He probably thought about it because Hines mentioned getting into coaching before he got into broadcasting.

Yeah....I can see what you mean. Just going off of the old HW interview where he said he would love to coach at UGA under CMR.

I agree. Does Godwin think that Georgia adjusted Coach Ball's job search just to mislead him? I know he has the all important 5 star rating, but his opinion of himself is a bit too high. I'm guessing that about next September he'll begin to figure that out, and then we'll see if he's a quitter or a fighter.

for what it's worth Godwin tweeted an apology for his tweet, said he respects CTB and UGA, hopes he will forgive him. Don't think we should analyze 17 year old kid's tweets much.

I agree with Brown to rb coach and McClendon to wr coach. Makes the most since to me.

I’m perfectly okay with this. Ball is a good coach, but a liability recruiting. I know LF is going to love him, because CTB WR's will be blockers first and foremost.
