SO looking forward I see us going 7-5 at best:

Vs. Troy – Rent-a-win. W

Vs. Tennessee – In Athens, UT appears to be better than they were last season. This one is a toss up but I say we win a close one. W

Vs. Vandy – Vandy is Vandy again. W

@ Missouri – Missouri can throw the ball and it is almost impossible to travel to Columbia from the entire state of Georgia….we lose this one by double digits. L

@ Arkansas – Almost as bad a trip as Missouri. To many frequent flyer miles for the Dawgs. L

MUCH NEEDED WEEK OFF

Florida – Who knows? With our propensity to shite the bed in games that mean anything (of course by this time this game will only mean something to UGA and Florida because neither of us will be in the running for the SEC East at this point). I think we get a win and seal Muschamp’s fate. W

@ Kentucky – Coming off an emotional win in Jacksonville we pull a typical Richt soiling of the bedsheets and lose to an up and coming UK team. L

Vs. Auburn – Auburn beats us like a rented mule. Embarassing loss at home on the same level as ’96 Florida beat down. L

V.s Charleston Southern – Rent-a-win #2. W

Vs. Georgia Tech – We own the Jackets like Florida used to own us and South Carolina owns us now….close win. W

7 – 5. Could easily be 6-6 or 5-7.

That Arkansas team plays Bama week before. How do u think they will be coming into that game. We win that one and screw Kentucky we ain't losing to them.

I envision 2 or 3 more losses (so 8-4 or 9-3)

For all the games left that we could easily lose, I think there are a few we could easily win. We're not the only jekyll-hyde team on that schedule. Lot of teams are going to morph for better and for worse. History tells us UGA will get better as the season progresses (barring injury)

Fired up Hawg team at home a gazillion miles away from Athens. And we lost to Vanderbilt last year...losing to Kentucky is a very real probability...

Not just 2 games...most of this is based on 4 decades of experience as a Dawg fan....it is no leap to know our defense is lousy, we don't have a SEC Championship caliber QB or offensive line, and our coaching staff is mediocre at best. 7-5 or 8-4 would be a good season as bad as our defense is.

Yes, just 2 games.

What does this have to do with this team? Just 2 games.

We're you saying the same thing 2 Sundays ago?

I was saying that our defense looked like shite in the first half of that game. We have played 8 quarters of football so far and our defense has played 2 quarters of good football.

And your right...nothing that happened yesterday has any bearing going forward....but if you have watched enough CFB you have to know that this team is mediocre at best and has more than a couple of more losses in its future.

I agree. We have more going against us, than for us. Mason was 2 of 9 on converting 3rd downs, while the RB's were 3 of 4.

Our DB's still look like shite, our D line gets pushed around since they are smaller. Our LB's cant cover worth a damn, then we still have ole Richt and Bobo to make stupid arse offensive calls that costs us drives and the game.

Mason doesn't need to throw the ball but maybe 10 times. Run Gurley and our stud rb's all day. We are going to live or die by them, b/c Mason cant not be relied upon to win us games.

This season will be a bust, maybe 8 wins if we are lucky. I say we play the back up qbs some, so at least next year we won't be breaking in a new qb, again.

Also this was Mason's first game as a starter vs an SEC opponent. I dont see him playing much better than what he has so far this season.

Actually the more likely scenarios are:

1. We win out, get embarrassed in the dome.
2. We win out, lose close one in the dome. Sec champ easily handles playoffs to win nc.
3. Cap1 bound, lose to michigan state.
4. We win out, SC wins sec and NC. Our fan base commits collective suicide.

Especially in a game we could've won & only have ourselves to blame cause we didn't. A 35-7 totally inept performance & I'd be on the bandwagon too. I can see us dropping 2-3 more, but I can also see us running the fricking table. The margin of error in the SEC is just that gotdamn thin again this year.

It was a shitty loss & we had some bad playcalling, but we are always SOS Superbowl & get their best shot & almost pulled it out. We've got 3very winnable games to get better before the B to B @ MU & Ark. Imma hold off judgement till then... shite happens...

could look at last years 5 losses including a loss to Vandy and OT needed against a crap UT team and GT.

Dude, we played a talented team that was fighting for their season in a tough venue. We were in a position to win that game, it just didn't happen. Could we go 7-5? Well, anything's possible...I guess we COULD go 1-11. The sky isn't falling, everyone with half a brain knew this was going to fight and we lost a close one. We'll regroup and we'll be fine. We've got some tough games left but I have a hard time seeing 4 more losses on the schedule unless our team just totally gives up in the comin weeks. I'm not all Disney and predicting we rattle off a 10 game win streak, but thinking Arkansas and UK are automatic losses is asinine. I think 9-3 is probably a fair assessment for this season and is on par with most people's preseason projections.

7-5 is worst case scenario, not best case. Good Lawd!
