This is the Rant, no place for rational and objective opinions.

As for the statistics, you can come up with statistics to prove anything. 14% of all people know that.

while I agree that year 2 is one where you typically see big strides, we have to remember that no matter how good we are everywhere else our OL is still going to be average AT BEST.

Our defense should be nasty as we return just about everyone and will have some young guys enter the mix as well. I'll never worry about RB here until it looks like we should be...herrian/holyfield/carter/swift are more than capable of running the ball. QB should absolutely improve. WRs can't possibly be any worse and maybe some of the freshmen can do something. TE is stacked.

That leaves the OL. We lose both tackles for the second year in a row. We should be stout in the middle with some combo of netori/kindley/cleveland/gaillard, but we've GOT to figure out center and tackle. Maybe putting Wynn at LT for an entire offseason will help him improve. Maybe Thomas can come in and be RT...sure he's inexperienced but he's a more natural fit for it than pyke IMO.

Interesting info. Our 2017 schedule isn't overly difficult but it doesn't mean shite if we don't get some serious improvement on the offensive line (particularly LT and C).

app state - easier than UNC
@ND- tough opponent but they aren't very good
samford- similar matchup to nicholls. Lord knows we SHOULD be comfrotable here
MSU- they're bad, certainly no @OM
@UT- UT isn't THAT good this year but still alright. Losing dobbs will be good for us but it's on the road.
@Vandy- win
Missouri- they're bad and it's at home
UF- they should probably be the same as they have been
SC- muschamp and we're at home
@AU- tough one
UK- should be in good shape
@GT- it's tech

overall I'd say the schedule next year may be easier than this one. Hopefully we see expected improvement.

YEar 3 is the real year. I can post the stats later unless one of you wants to beat me to the punch, that'd be fine too

eta what i mean is by year 3.... so year 2 or 3.

But it is never year 4. if you dont do it by 3, you never do it.

2 exceptions are fulmer and tuberville
