100% on the time we score in the Redzone. that's some damn efficiency in our offense that we haven't seen in some time

In Chaney We Trust???????

Yeah but let's be honest. We've never been this efficient before even against cupcakes.

Valid. It speaks to the fact that so far we have not made as single mistake inside the redzone that has prevented us from scoring. That's impressive even against a practice squad. In other words, this team looks to be very well coached this season.

exactly. I heard today on the radio the the team mentality, not the coaches, is to make the other team quit. Our OL takes pride in beating up the defense until they give up. That is a mentality we haven't heard in a long time. Sometimes its probably harder against cupcakes to stay focused and not take a play off which can lead to turnovers. So far we haven't seen that happen

We are improved. .. no doubt.

But this is a better representation (td percentage in conference play)

I agree. Lots of room for improvement as we are middle of the pack in redzone attempts (7th) and TD% (6th). At least we are trending in the right direction and not making the critical mistakes so far....w/ a True Fr QB

That is a huge testament to Fromm and Chaney. They are doing a great job getting TDs, and an even better job protecting the football with 2+ true freshmen out there.

In fairness, however, a solid number of our TDs have come from well outside of the RZ.

Another point is that we have kicked a few RZ FG deep in the game when we could easily have converted with our backups. I’d like to see what the percentage of RD TD is with just the starting unit.
