I have no problem with you misreading. Nor do I have a problem with you being liberal. I've always thought you need both liberals and conservatives (Which I count myself as a conservative) to keep things semi down the center.

However, to point out several conservatives whose states are not doing well seems a bit misguided, considering the Democratic Party is the party of Gary Hart, Maxine Waters, Anthony Weiner, Barney Frank...boasts some of the highest tax rates in the country (New York, California) while seeking federal bankruptcy protection (in the past, not currently)...I mean, both sides have plenty to point fingers about. neither party (Democrat or Republican) is looking after our best interest. I'm not sure if any politician in the country is looking after our best interest.
