Whoa..IMG DT, TK Chimedza committed to Tech today. It was thought to be between us and Duke. Came out of left-field with this one as Tech wasn't listed as a team he had visited nor was there a cb in for him to there.

Don't think UGA was recruiting him really.
He's one of those early targets whose names people know, but then turn out to not be that highly sought after. He's kind of short and not that explosive per reports.

Rumor on the USC 247 board is that we turned down Matt Corral today. IF (really big if) that is true then the only explanation is that Fields is in the bag. Here's the post fwiw LINK. Really important that we play this situation right, can't turn down one 5 star just to be spurned by another.

We can if we redshirt Fromm. Even if we don't get a highly rated QB, we can get a serviceable one to backup Fromm. But I have a feeling we get Fields.

We weren't exactly doing well with the serviceable QBs on our board before these two 5 stars de-committed. If we come up empty handed when we had one in the bag then it won't be a good look at all. A lot of reputable insiders are indicating that we don't have anything to worry about though.

Yea but why not keep recruiting him anyway?!?! If we miss out on Fields and Corral we probably will have to settle for a 3 star DT. I've said from the beginning I thought fields would've committed to us last year if we would've offered him when we were in it for TLaw. I don't want to see us make the same mistake again.

Man Pulling in Fields and Zeus would be a crazy turn around from where we were a few weeks ago.
Recruiting is Crazy.
I still think we have to at least make the SEC championship game to keep the negative recruiting at bay
