I saw Coach O came in and offered him and 2 other guys yesterday. Had a bad feeling about that one. Kirby should have bit the bullet and at least went after Chatman

Said it before, this class is remincent of Mark Richt. Anderson is a freaking stud, you build your defense around guys like him. Big time loss, makes Cox even more important.
Shitiest part is we backed off a few OLB bc Kirby thought Anderson was solid and we were in the drivers seat for Cox. Kick to the nuts

Hate that. Anderson was one I wanted bad. He's going to be a really good one.
However, let's wait and see how everything shakes out. Maybe Kirby has somebody else lined up.

I don't normally worry about recruiting in April, but we have 1 friggin' recruit? Well, you can probably forget about a top 20 recruiting class, much less a top 5 unless Kirby does some serious work.

Yep. Generally think recruiting rankings this time of year are just to keep best writers busy, but it's really starting to look bad. We have seen first hand what essentially whiffing on an entire class can do to your program ('13). I'm not panic mode for 18 yet, but this is as close as I could be before the season even starts.

Lol there's no way we don't have a top 20 class, even though things are looking bleak right now we still should finish top 10.

From what I understand, we are looking at a down year in the state as far as recruits, and we were going to take a smaller class, so a top 5 probably wasn't in the cards anyway. I am very disappointed with losing Anderson as he is going to be a great player, IMO, and is a high character guy, too.

Also, any word on Z White? Like how the G Day game was for him? Also how much would having Zamir, one of the top players in the nation, sign with us? If he would make 3 recruits who signed with us, would you guys still be as worried? Although it would be good to have more guys signed by now, we did just sign one of our best recruiting classes EVER, and next year looks to be just as stacked in the state if not moreso.
