So Beal is actually visiting USCe this weekend? I thought he said he shut things down?

Beal got a touch of the flu this weekend and rescheduled his visit to Columbia until next weekend. (Coincidentally, the same weekend Jaymest is supposed to be there) Personally, I think that is planned...And Beal never said he shut his recruitment down. He just tweeted that Dawg fans don't need to worry, and he will be a Dawg.

Wyatt is OVing this weekend hopefully we can shut that shite down.

So to get back on recruiting instead of getting derailed with all this milk talk, rumors is D Wyatt has a verified 4.59 forty time. Where is the dude that bet his life on it?

Not saying it is a legit, but they haven't always had that as his verified 40 time, and anyone know when they verified it? Even if you assume its hand timed and .1-.2 secs off, that around 4.7 for a 300 lb 6-3 DT.

We definitely need to keep him signed w/ the good guys.

I didn't bet my life on it, but I certainly did doubt it. I still do. It's one of those things you would have to see to believe. I'm not sure what "verified" means, either.

Wow. That sounds as blatant as you could ask. I won't lie, his size concerns me, but I will be happy if we get him, and I will hope he becomes the next Tyrann Mathieu.....without the drug issues.

I like Williams...I think he will be a great player in Athens.

Plus we can simultaneously add a 4 star specimen of an athlete and at the same time remove him from USCe. Win win if you ask me

I hope so. He has the talent.

Taking a 4* away from USCe doesn't get me all that excited. Adding a top player, however, does. He'll probably be fine. Like the old saying goes, ;"If there is a player on the field that is 6'5" and 330LBS, he might be there because he is big. If you get a smallish player out on the field, it is because he has talent."

I'm not a fan of the size either, but he could be excellent at covering their slot guy. I just have flashbacks of M Parrish getting beat in jump balls by the taller receiver. Ole Miss comes to mind. It didn't happen a lot but enough to see that his shorter height was a big mismatch.

Still I would love to have him especially with our other guys and you really can't have enough of talented guys. Anyone know if he would be as a punt returner?

I'm pretty sure he did that at Grayson effectively. I've only seen him play once. He is very fast, can change direction quickly, and will go up for the ball for a shorter guy.

That D Rob guy we recruited last year wasn't very good this season

Just read this, D Rob had a great season, and made the freshman All American team this year.

Hypothetical here:

If I told you we lost Wyatt but flipped Jamyest, would any of you take that trade?

Looks like that might be a reality.

Jamyest is on campus today and word is that it's gone very well.

That coupled with talk swirling about Wyatt possibly flipping is what prompted the question.

I'm sorry, but every time I see our black jerseys, a part of my heart gets a warm fuzzy feeling.

I thought about using the but thought everyone would understand that was sarcasm.

Apparently not.
