FWIW...some guys on the Auburn recruiting board are getting on ellitor for insinuating we paid to get Rochester. Can it be true? Can Auburn fans be human? 
Actually, I think MOST are good folks. We all get carried away with trolling and baiting the opposing fan bases, and it gets old after awhile. I'd like it if the board could turn into more of an exchange of information and ideas more than useless trolling that gets us absolutely nothing.

Woody posted a kind of apology thread on the Rivals board and all the members are destroying him for running the story. Not his finest hour for sure.

I will defend what was done....to an extent. While we look at recruiting and signings as an enjoyable past time, it is the reporters job. It is their job to report accurately, and, if possible be the first to report it. If you are accurate and the first to report signings, more people will follow you on Twitter and will sign up to the service you work for. We ALL want the news first, so we are partially to blame.
That said, they should respect the kids wishes to make their own announcement.
If you doubt what I am saying just watch this board. We all want to be the first to break a big signing to our fellow Dawg fans. For a reporter, it can mean the difference of being employed and looking for a job. It's just the way things are.

We'll just have to disagree if this is your stance... The UGA Rivals site is not a "news" site they are a pay for UGA insider info site, so they should put UGA's best interests first, not breaking any & all UGA "news" first...
IMO..."IF" Rivals causes us to lose a planned commit from a 5* on the eve of BCW which could've swayed the opinions &/or given UGA a momentum boost with a ton of top tier guys we are in on who are visiting at BCW & maybe taken a little luster offa the barn event, UGA should make Rivals pay.... Maybe make access to the Richt camps, 7 on 7's, Dawgnight etc. as tough as reasonably possible. Not saying to restrict them but just not cater to them...

I can understand making the mistake, but the fact that he has stood by the decision, been a child on twitter, and not apologized (as far as I know) is ridiculous. Huge embarrassment for Rivals today.
