Wow the recruit reactions are crazy..UGA is trending BIG time for the top recruits with this news. I hate that it looks like Pruitt may be heading back to Bama though unless Smart can talk him into staying.

Our recruiting is going to be insane with this hire. The key is to keep Rocker. Then we will definitely round up the DL class to end all DL classes. Even if we lose Pruitt (which sucks, but is likely).

Somebody tell me how Kirby plus Muschamp compares with losing Pruitt with recruits and current D players. Is it a net positive?

Kirby - by himself - cancels out the loss of Pruitt with recruits. We may even gain in recruiting defense in this class with Kirby coming in as HC. Keeping Rocker will assure we keep the insane DL class we're putting together.
As to current players, especially the defense, they will be just fine. They are well aware of Kirby's record at Bama and they run a similar defense.
Now we just need to know who our new OC is going to be.

Damn that second link is juicy. Would love to keep Brown, Bmac, and Rocker. Losing rocker and replacing with the UF DL coach wouldn't be a bad consolation prize.

Regardless of what these reports are saying, I think Pruitt stays. We will see on Sunday/Monday.
