Dozens of defensive players going to twitter and defending Pruitt like their lives depended on it doesn't look good. Were they told something?

I wouldn't look too much into the pulling of the coaches off the recruiting trail. That's standard procedure when in the middle of a coaching change. You don't want coaches recruiting players to the school they may leave to. It's happened before (I believe Chavis recruiting TN targets to follow him to LSU).
The exceptions would be of course DGD's Brown and McLendon, who the BM administration can trust to be loyal to their school.
There's really no purpose in recruiting with the coaching situation as it is, as soon as a coach is hired and names his staff, then hit the road.

Not to mention that the coaches no longer have anything to sell. What are they supposed to tell recruits when they ask them about the coaching change? Seems like the assistant coaches are as out of the loop as we are on this one.

With Eason and Cleveland being early enrolls. They stated a new coach has to be in by DEC 11th to keep them per interview with Dawgnation.

Worst part of that seems to be the recruit that was going to commit this past weekend but is unsure if he still has an offer...jeez. What a mess for recruiting..

If he feels like UGA pulled the rug out from under him by letting Richt go...maybe he remembers how he threw our staff under the bus and said they forced him to commit while on painkillers?

Rusty is saying that the entire staff is back on the trail.

There is a Facebook post saying Richt called Eason Ben and some others and told them to relax and be patient. See who new coach is. Promoted UGA. DGD that man.
